Old road maps, rolled into something beautiful and handcrafted in Orkney.
These delightfully unique paper bead necklaces are made using upcycled old road maps — a lovely way to give something forgotten a new lease of life. Each bead is hand rolled, given a light varnish, and strung on 3mm faux suede cord, with larger beads measuring about 2cm x 1.5cm and smaller ones 1cm x 1cm, accented with silver-toned spacer beads.
Measuring approximately 40cm with a 5cm silver-toned cord extension, each necklace comes in a choice of colours and arrives in a charming organza gift bag. Please note, the beads are not waterproof, so keep them dry and they'll keep their charm.
