Curvy Creatures - Woolly Pig

Meet the Mangalitza — a woolly pig with personality, hand knitted in Orkney.

This adorable knitted woolly pig is handcrafted right here in Orkney, with a 7cm polystyrene ball at its core giving it its charmingly curvy shape. And this isn't just any pig — it's a Mangalitza, the wonderfully woolly heritage breed that looks more like a sheep than a swine!

We have two of these lovely pigs on our islands called Peter and Brian. Check out their Facebook page THE PIG STY or visit them in person when you come to Orkney!

Each woolly pig makes a quirky pincushion or a charming decoration that's guaranteed to start a conversation. Not intended as a toy; not suitable for children under 14. 🐷🧶
